The Kentucky Council on Economic Education provides many resources--both print and on-line--to enhance the teaching of economics in the classroom. Print resources can be found in our on-line catalog, and this page includes continually updated lessons to use in the classroom, whether you are teaching kindergarteners or high school business students--language arts, math, social studies, science, business, or economics!

Economics & Literature - Lessons by Kentucky teachers and weblinks to literature books and lessons.

Basic Economic Concepts - Teach the basic economic concepts through children's literature books. In a partnership with the Indiana Council on Economic Education, KCEE offers KidsEconPosters that focus on basic economic concepts, K-8.  At this website, you can connect to literature books that have been selected because they focus on a particular concept.  Each link includes information on the book, as well as a short lesson you can use to "bring out the economic concept" covered.
